The Toscana Cilestro red wine was created for the first time in 2001, and is produced only in special vintages, i.e. only when a particular vineyard planted with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon are unable to perfectly ripen. The result is an intense wine suitable for aging. It finds its admirers among lovers of robust tannins and Tuscan typicalness.
